Bad News Elephants

Things are going South quickly for the Repubs. And southest of all for them is the race for TX 22, where, despite a good ole boy effort to weasel his way off, Delay's name will remain on the ballot giving Lampson an almost assured win. Actually, I shouldn't jinx it...a mighty good chance at a win.

Elsewhere, Republicans are saying and/or doing stupid things right and, well, right, making sure there are some shake-ups during mid-terms. All I can say is 'bout time you guys did something good for America.

OK, now Dems, lean in close, got somethin' important to say to you too! WAKE THE F UP! The time is now! OK, we lost Lieberman, but he was almost a Republican anyway. Let's focus on the ones that are left. Give Casey a chance, get Ford in there, support Duckworth. But most of all, once you get into office, shake things up. Take on the tough stuff. Challenge the military in Iraq, keep addressing immigration problems, and if someone comes in offering you millions of dollars from a casino in TX, close your door and lock it tight.
