Who's Laughing Now Bug Man??

The federal judge in the case to keep Delay on the ballot in the race for Congress in November ruled in favor of the Dems, requiring that Bug Man remain on the ballot as the Republican nominee.

Once again, his ego caught up with him. If he had resigned before the primary and let one of the tons of other Repubs vying for the seat take the nomination, he wouldn't have this problem. But he wanted to hand-pick his replacement and he didn't want the voters to have anything to do with the decision. Why let them decide? What do they know anyway? So he had to garner one final win and circumvent his own contsituents' desires, people he gerrymandered into a super-district for himself, by stepping down after the primary and allowing the state party to pick an un-nominated replacement. Dirty dirty man.

Well, we'll see if the decision stands. The Repubs will appeal and he'll continue to assert that he lives in Virginia now and isn't eligible to run. Um, then why are you answering the door in Sugar Land you arse?

This should give Lampson a boost. It's no sure thing, but maybe Sugarlandians will stubbornly give Delay their vote and hand Lampson a default win. Not the most noble of victories, but I ain't complaining.

Go Lampson! Win that election through complicated judicial rulings!!!
